Zeolite contributes to a cleaner and safer environment in countless ways. It is used to enrich the atmosphere with oxygen due to its selective ability to absorb nitrogen. As a redox catalyst, it can remove atmospheric pollutants, such as vehicle exhaust fumes and CFCs, which cause ozone depletion. It also improves and purifies drinking water by filtering out all substances hazardous to humans.
The unique composition of the zeolite mineral gives it significant physical and chemical properties, resulting in the constant development of new applications for its use, making it one of the most useful minerals today. Zeolite, acting as a ‘molecular sieve’, traps positive ions, absorbing a wide range of environmental pollutants amounting to up to thirty (30) per cent of its weight.
Natural zeolite has been used in cases of protection against nuclear radiation leaks, such as in Fukushima and Chernobyl. Due to its ability to bind heavy metals, zeolite is often applied in large quantities in areas affected by radiation leaks. It binds the radioactive material, which is then collected and encapsulated in glass and cement.
In industry, it is used in filters to absorb carbon dioxide and other harmful compounds. Zeolite can also be used to filter liquid industrial waste, by binding various toxic and radioactive ions, as well as in the recycling of water from industrial activities. Most importantly, however, after use and with appropriate treatment, its properties can be restored so that it can be reused. It is used to clean up oil spills at sea. Adding zeolite to cement in the construction sector significantly reduces carbon dioxide emissions.

Free shipping applies to all orders over €49 in mainland Greece and up to 5 kg in the islands and the rest of Attica. When the order exceeds 5 kg, we deliver free of charge to a shipping company in Athens, bound for your island or an area in the rest of Attica. Any additional charges from Athens to your destination are your responsibility.

Orders shipped via courier services are dispatched the same day if placed by 12:00 PM. Orders shipped via standard shipping carriers are usually dispatched within one to two business days.
When will I receive my order?
In mainland Greece, you will receive your order in 1 to 3 business days. You usually receive it the next day. In island Greece, in 3 to 5 business days.
What happens if I am away and cannot receive my order?
All orders are delivered “to your door” between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. If you are not home at the time of delivery, the order will be returned to the warehouse or the carrier’s local branch, and you will be required to pick it up from there.
