1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to “remember” your choices — for example the language, the contents of the cart or the fact that you are logged in.
They fall into:
- Session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies, which remain for a specific period of time or until you delete them.
- First-party cookies, which are placed by us, and third-party cookies, which are placed by our partners.
The same logic covers other local storage technologies, such as local storage and pixels. Everything written here applies to those as well.
2. When your consent is required
Under Law 3471/2006 (article 4 §5), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Directive 2/2020 of the Data Protection Authority:
✅ Without consent — only the strictly necessary ones
Cookies that are technically necessary for the shop to work (cart, login, language, security) are placed without consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be provided.
🔔 With prior consent — everything else
Statistics and advertising cookies are placed only after you give your consent, through an active choice in the management tool that appears on your first visit. Making no choice or closing the window is not taken as consent, and refusing is just as easy as accepting.

The shop works normally and you can complete an order without accepting any non-necessary cookie. Only we lose the statistics — you lose no function at all.
