Terms of Use & Transactions

The terms that govern the use of shop.zeolife.gr and every order you place through it.

1. Who we are

shop.zeolife.gr is the online store of the sole proprietorship Chatzigeorgiou Vassilios Chrysovalantis, whose business is the trade and production of certified natural zeolite products and industrial minerals. We have been operating since 2013.

Alongside it we maintain the informational website zeolife.gr, with articles, guides and dosage tools. These terms apply to both websites, with the sections concerning orders applying exclusively to the online store.

2. Company details

The main warehouse does not operate as a physical retail store. Collection of an order from the warehouse is possible by prior telephone arrangement.

3. Acceptance & amendment of the terms

Browsing the website and submitting an order entail your unreserved acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any term, please do not proceed with an order and contact us for clarification.

We reserve the right to amend the terms. Every amendment takes effect from the moment it is published on this page. Your orders are governed by the terms that were in force at the time the order was submitted; no amendment applies retroactively to completed transactions. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.

4. Products, certifications & information

For every product we provide technical specifications, a safety data sheet (MSDS), chemical analysis, certification of content, the CEC value and analyses for heavy metals and radioactive isotopes. The documents are available on each product page or on request.

MED® range — medical devices

The products of the MED® range are medical devices bearing the CE 0197 marking and are distributed under licence Δ3(α)4822/2025.

Animal feed & agricultural use

The animal feed products are produced under FAMIQS certification. The products for agricultural use are compatible with organic farming. The dosages given in the guides and tools at zeolife.gr/ergaleia are indicative; the final application depends on the conditions of each crop or livestock operation.

Accuracy of information

We make every possible effort to state characteristics, images and prices accurately. We cannot, however, rule out typographical or technical errors. The photographs are indicative and may differ slightly from the product you receive (e.g. in packaging design).

5. Prices & VAT

• All prices shown in the store are in euro (€) and include VAT.
• Shipping costs are calculated and shown before the order is finalised, at checkout.
• For orders destined outside the European Union, the shipment constitutes an export and Greek VAT is deducted automatically as soon as the shipping address is completed. Customs charges may arise in the country of destination — see Shipping & Delivery.
• Prices may change without notice. Your order is governed by the price that was displayed at the moment of submission.

6. Ordering & conclusion of the contract

You can order through the online store or by telephone on 2311 29 55 20.

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to conclude a contract on your part. The automatic email “Your order has been received” confirms receipt; it does not constitute acceptance. The contract is concluded when we send you the dispatch confirmation for the order.

We reserve the right not to accept an order in cases such as: stock running out, a manifestly incorrect price, inability to verify your details, or suspicion of a fraudulent transaction. In every such case we inform you and refund in full any amount you have paid.

7. Availability

The availability indication is updated regularly, but in rare cases it may not match the physical stock. If a product is not available after you have placed your order, we contact you so that you can choose: to wait, replacement with an equivalent product, partial shipment, or cancellation with a full refund.

10. Withdrawal & warranty

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw without giving a reason within 14 calendar days and a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity. The conditions, the exceptions and the procedure are described on the Returns, Withdrawal & Warranty page, which forms an integral part of these terms.

11. User account

Creating an account is optional — you can also order as a guest. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for every action carried out through it. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

You undertake that the details you provide are accurate and up to date. We reserve the right to suspend an account in the event of a breach of the terms or of fraudulent use.

12. Liability

We are liable for the proper execution of your order and for the conformity of the products in accordance with the provisions of Law 2251/1994 on consumer protection and Law 4967/2022 on the sale of goods.

If you receive a product that is defective, incorrect or does not match the description, you are entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or withdrawal, with the shipping and return costs borne by us. See Returns, Withdrawal & Warranty.

We are not liable for:

• Damage due to use contrary to the product’s instructions or to improper storage after delivery.
• Delays or damage due exclusively to third-party carriers, beyond our obligations as the seller.
• Temporary interruption of the website’s operation for maintenance reasons or force majeure.
• The content of third-party websites to which we refer you.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for non-performance or delay due to events beyond our reasonable control — indicatively extreme weather phenomena, natural disasters, strikes, power or telecommunications outages, cyberattacks, pandemics or government decisions. In such a case we inform you by email and you choose whether you wish to wait or to cancel with a full refund.

14. Intellectual property

The entire content of the websites — texts, articles, guides, dosage tools, photographs, videos, graphics, logos and the design — is the intellectual property of the business or of its rights holders and is protected by Greek and European legislation.

The trademarks Zeolife®, MED®, Zeofeed®, EcoPlant®, ZeoGravel® and our other distinctive signs may not be used without prior written permission.

Republication of extracts for informational or educational purposes is permitted, with explicit attribution of the source and an active link to the page of origin. Bulk copying, automated data collection (scraping) and commercial exploitation without permission are not permitted.

15. Third-party links

Our websites contain links to third-party websites, which we do not control. We are not liable for their content, their privacy policies or their practices. You visit them at your own risk.

16. Customer reviews

We publish product reviews from customers. By submitting a review, you declare that the content is your own and truthful, and you grant us a non-exclusive right to publish it.

We do not publish reviews that contain abusive or unlawful content, personal data of third parties, advertising material, or claims about curing diseases. We do not alter the rating and we do not delete negative reviews because they are negative.

18. Dispute resolution

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law and the law of the European Union, in particular Law 2251/1994 (consumer protection), Law 4967/2022 (sale of goods), Presidential Decree 131/2003 (electronic commerce) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

If you are a consumer resident in another EU Member State, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of your own country and you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence. In every other case the courts of Thessaloniki are designated as competent.

The possible invalidity of one term does not affect the validity of the remaining ones.
